The former Watford striker has scored 4 goals in three starts and has tally up to 8 games so far United since joining in January, and has offered this mouthwatering deal by his parent club following his scintillating form on his return to England.
Ighalo’s current form has led to calls for a permanent deal for the Nigerian at Old Trafford, or at least an extension. The 30-year-old forward’s contract with Shanghai has now been extedend to december 2024 from the original expiry date which was due by December 2022.
Meanwhile, his current loan spell at Old Trafford is due to expire on May 31st but will, due to the Coronavirus outbreak, be extended till June 30th.
